Early 20th century silver dressing table box, of oval form, the hinged cover with engraved monogram to centre, engine turned decoration and flower head and reeded border, upon four pad feet, hallmarked William Adams Ltd, Birmingham 1917, W12.5cm, together with two further early 20th century silver examples, the larger example of oval form with shaped rim, hallmarked Lee & Wigfull, Sheffield 1913, W7.5cm, the smaller also of oval form, the hinged cover repouss� decorated with putto mask, hallmarked Henry Matthews, Birmingham 1905, W7cm, approximate total weight (not including liners which are loose) 4.51 ozt (140.4 grams)Condition Report:General wear commensurate with age and use, including surface scratches and nicks.Second and third box with a few small indentations.Feet slightly bent, and second and third boxes in particular slightly unsteady on feet. Third box with wear to repousse decoration, and solder repair to underside to full hole where nose is.Hallmarks to first two boxes with some light wear, but generally clear and legible, hallmarks to third box more heavily worn but still legible.Bases present, but loose and can be entirely removed from boxes.
